Hi! Welcome to Galaxy Y Archive.
This is a personal project made by just one person — me! I'm a fan of the Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360, a phone released back in 2011 that runs Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread.
I'm not a programmer, and I don't really know how to code. I'm just someone who enjoys exploring old Android phones and wants to keep this little device alive.
Nowadays, it's getting harder to find apps and games that still work on the Galaxy Y. Many old apps have disappeared, and some online services no longer work.
That's why I started this project.
What can you find here?
Compatibility
Not every APK will work, even if it supports Android 2.3.
I try to separate apps that have been tested from those that are still untested. If an app installs but doesn't work properly, I'll try to make that clear too.
I don't want this website to be just another place to download random APK files. I want people to know what they're downloading and whether it might work on their phone.
Why am I doing this?
Honestly, I just don't want the Galaxy Y to be forgotten.
It's an old and limited phone, but I still think it's interesting. I want to see what it can do in 2026, even when most developers have stopped supporting it.
I'm learning as I go, and this website is something I'm building little by little. I might make mistakes, and updates might take a while, but I'll keep working on it whenever I can.
Even though I'm working on this alone and don't know much about coding, I still want to do my best to preserve apps, games, and information for this phone.
If you still use a Galaxy Y or another old Android device, I hope you find something useful here.
Let's keep this little phone alive.
(If you're wondering why my website is simple, it's because I only built it using HTML. HTML is very lightweight, making it suitable for older phones. I don't use CSS or other programming tools.)
